Camelot Cockers has been breeding A.K.C. American Cocker Spaniels since 1989, and for the past twenty years our family has stood behind a few rules that, as  you will see, sets us apart from other Cocker Spaniel Breeders.

First:        We are not trying to make dogs that will win shows!

Second:    We don't "crank out" as many puppies as possible in order to make tons of money!

And...........

Third:       We do not sell to puppy stores!

Our family philosophy is making the best possible cold nose, wet kiss, and wagging tail you'll ever have!

Our Cockers are raised in our home, situated on our land that has an endless supply of fresh spring water, clean air, and room to run. We don't confine our dogs, we crate them at night, but we do not confine them to a chain link fence or cage banks (like in pet stores!) Doing so would create anxiety issues which could lead to behavior problems.

Cocker Spaniels in general are a people loving breed. When we say a cold nose, wet kiss, and a wagging tail...  that's exactly what we get every time we come home. They absolutely crave human companionship! You'll never find a cocker wanting to be locked in a cage or room! Cockers want to be with people, even if it means being nose-to-nose with you on the couch, under your feet while on the computer, or in your bed trying to snuggle... That's just their personality! If you're not an absolute dog lover or don't have the time to give your cocker the attention it needs... then a cocker may not be right for you.
